Yard Sale! Saturday June 27th


St. James Yard Sale!!
Saturday June 27th
8:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
Delicious Homemade Baked Goods For Sale Too!

Refreshments available; hotdogs, chips, water and soft drinks!


It’s time to go through your attic, garage, closets and cupboards!
Gather up everything you no longer use or want, and donate them to the St. James yard sale.

Please bring those items to the church Wed. June 24 thru Fri. June 26 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. There will be volunteers here to price the items. Sign-up sheets for volunteers are posted in the narthex.
Each parishioner is asked to consider furnishing at least one baked good. Remember to label your baked good.

Proceeds will go to toward expenses for the 150th Anniversary celebration.

A new Parish Directory is being prepared, and scheduled to be ready in time for our 150th Anniversay Celebration.
Be sure to mark Monday June 29th on your calendars because the folks from Universal Church Directories will be here shooting our portraits from 12:30 until 7:00 P.M.

Preparations Continue for Our Anniversry Celebration


There are a number of projects that need to be done prior to our 150th Anniversary Celebration on August 7, 8, & 9, 2009.

Donations will be greatly appreciated for any of the following:
* Rail for the back stairs.
* Ladies restroom; New faucets and toilets, Paint.
* Outside painting.
* Sixth Street concrete steps.
* Plants and shrubs for landscaping.

If you would like to make a donation towards any of these projects see one of the wardens, or send a check payable to St. James Church. Be sure to specify on what the payment is for.
